Short Film

An Italian Memory is a 4 minute short film about a man with dementia who finds something that triggers a distant memory.

I created this film while I was taking part in the Kino Guarimba residency, in Italy. The residency consisted of 50 creatives from around the world coming together to make a range of films in a town called Amantea. I wanted to direct something small but emotionally resonant, and this idea stood out to me. I decided to write it into a script and shoot it in a day at the residency.
